Wait. Brandy killed someone? I don't believe it. She should perform a cover of Snoop Dogg's "Murder Was the Case" and this would all come full circle...

I recently learned that MTV's target demographic when testing programming is 10-12 year old boys. If that's what you mean by "lowest common denominator," then there's a whole big group of kids out there who will surely be offended. At least, they will be when they're old enough to understand fractions.

I don't trust MTV with quality/innovative television. Every show I've liked on there, has been canceled. They can't save themselves.

They serve the lowest common denominator, and trash tv has a lot of competition now days. But by all means, I hope they prove me wrong.

BRANDY is your oversexed child?? I gotta say, I like your post, but Brandy was the least sexed child star of the times. She was a UN Goodwill Ambassador! (which, i realize, does not negate the possibility of her being oversexed. see: angelina jolie)

But really. Brandy was just sittin' up in her room, layin' back and thinkin' 'bout yooooou.

She was a mess, with a thang for you, but she was SO NOT oversexed.

Maybe you meant to say, um, Adina Howard?

p.s. looking at the billboard 1995 hits was like the highlight of my life. i mean day. i mean life.

Thanks BTC, you totally had my back on that one. PS, what is The State doing now? Making Sierra Mist commercials and performing at Union Hall? That’s what i thought!

But in 1995, were Jake and I featured in The State's premiere episode? I did not think so!
