It's true, both Big and Blast from the Past must have influenced Jamie Kennedy in some way.

Again though, both of those are probably better movies than Kickin' It Old Skool is going to be. But hey, who knows, maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised. Or maybe we'll just never see it.

I shamefully watched the trailer for "Kickin it Old Skool" on MySpace...apparently one of the many plot nuiances is that when he wakes up from the coma he still has the mind of a 12 year-old. So it's also kind of ripping off "Big." Or maybe all these movies are simply "paying homage"...

I love laura Linney too. But more importantly, don't you think "Kickin It Old School" is copying "Blast from the Past"?

I do love Laura Linney. Ken Marino won though.

I suppose using Whoopi-esque in that context is okay, but seriously, that's it now. No more.

a) i wouldn't be so quick to dismiss 'whoopi-esque' as a useful adjective...what if you happen to see a nun who looks like she's in hiding from a vegas mobster? what then, pcm??

b) you love laura linney

c) and ken marino. i'd see that one.
